IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) DIINTEGRASIKAN DENGAN PETA KONSEP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS XI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 PEKANBARU T.A 2018/2019

Abstract


Abstract: The classroom action research has been carried out which aims to improve biology achievement of the second year students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru by the implementation of cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share type integrated with Concept Maps. The subject of this study was the second year students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru 2018/2019 academic year. Numbered 28 student, consist of 17 male and 11 female. Parameters that measured are student achievement of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Data collection technique is done by test (post test and daily test) and non test (observation sheet). The results of this study show that the absorption of students increased from cycle I to cycle II from 80.28 (enough category) to 86.78 (good category). Student completeness increased from cycle I to cycle II, with completeness percentage 89.27% (good category) to 100% (very good category). Affective aspects of students increased from cycle 1 to cycle II, namely 79.23 with enough categories to be 85.56 with good categories. And the psychomotor aspects of students increased from cycle 1 to cycle II which was 83.45 with enough categories to be 90.96 in the good category. Buset on research results concluded that the Implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Think Pair Share type is integrated with the Concept Map can Biology achievement of second year students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.
