Abstract


Abstract: This study is based on the low motivation of student learning, has a low courtesy still often ignores the students reprimands and advice from teachers, such as when going to praying Dhuhur together in school, students like to interfere with friends when performing ablutions, when reprimanded by teachers many still do not care. Students are still cool to play and interfere with friends when performing ablution. This research type is descriptive research. Subjects in this study are 24 students of the spirit members who perform tahajud prayers more than three times a week. Data processing that has been done by researchers can be concluded that the emotional intelligence of students who perform tahajud prayers more than three times a week are in high category. Emotional intelligence of students who perform tahajud prayers based on the highest indicators include: empathy, self-awareness, and self-motivation.
