Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to know the concept of geometry A group of children through early childhood puzzle game geometry in early childhood Al-Masitho District Kampar East Regency of Kampar. This study is kinds studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years are numbered 1 7 children in early childhood Al-Masitho. The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed lower geometry puzzle game can improve the ability to know the concept of geometry in children aged 4-5 years. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of the ability to know the concept of geometry in the first cycle of 54.61% which is the criterion begins to develop (MB) and an increase of 93.06% in the second cycle into 81.76% Area on criteria developed very well (BSB). So, puzzle game geometry can improve the ability to know the concept of geometry children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Al-Masitho East Kampar District regency of kampar.
