UPAYA NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION (NGO) ANAK MENYUARAKAN HAK DASAR PEREMPUAN DAN ANAK DALAM FORUM COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN (CSW) 2023

Abstract

Children's rights in the digital age still lack attention. An unsafe digital environment greatly affects the psychological and physical development of young people. Therefore, this study aims to find out how Save the Children Indonesia's efforts as a child-focused non-governmental organization, representing young Indonesians to voice children's rights at the Forum Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) 2023 and influence the Indonesian government to protect the rights of Indonesian women and children in the digital era.
The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive model. This research was analyzed using neoliberal institutionalism theory by Robert O. Keohane, and group level of analysis. This research obtained data from document analysis, journals, books, official publications and interviews.
The results of the research conducted show that Save the Children Indonesia voices the rights of women and children by advocating, forming a new collaboration, and influencing the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection by forming a youth research group, as well as developing services for children who are victims of violence in the digital era which are also formed by young people.
