PENYELENGGARAAN OLIMPIADE MUSIM DINGIN DI BEIJING TAHUN 2022
Abstract
Holding the Winter Olympics provides benefits but host countries will face challenges including huge costs and environmental impacts so some prospective host countries have chosen to withdraw. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Winter Olympics in Beijing in 2022.
The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection method used is document analysis. The theory used is sports diplomacy theory to explain the holding of the 2022 Winter Olympics with the concept of national interests. The level of analysis used is country.
This research shows that holding the 2022 Winter Olympics by implementing sports diplomacy, namely International Sport Organization, National Brand, Media and Technology, Sport Ambassador, Lobbying shows China's ability to hold a successful Winter Olympics.
