UPAYA WORLD WIDE FUND FOR NATURE (WWF) DALAM MENANGANI KERUSAKAN LINGKUNGAN AKIBAT SAMPAH PLASTIK DI PANTAI BALI
Abstract
This writing aims to explain how the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) as an international organization that handles environmental problems in collaboration in handling the use of plastic waste, especially in the Bali beach area which is one of the province of tourism.
This study used a qualitative descriptive method of study with the perspective of pluralism and in clarity with the theory of the international organization. Data – Data obtained through library reviews, other books, articles, websites and so on.
Analysis of researchers concluded that the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) has been working on the environmental damage caused by plastic waste on the beach in Bali by doing cooperation with the Government of Indonesia and the government of Bali, this is in the prove with the issuance of law No. 18 year 2008 ON WASTE Management, issuing KLHK Circular letter No. S. 1230/PSLB3-PS/2016 on price and implementation mechanism of paid plastic bags. Perda No. 1 Year 2017 about PPLH on environmental protection and management, regulation of the governor of Bali No. 97 year 2018 on the time limitation of disposable garbage and WWF has also done cooperation with transportation companies such as Blue Bird, this is evidenced by the Blue Bird issued The policy no straw movement, no glass or bottle And WWF also cooperate with Gojek and this is proved by making a bag of introduction is specially designed to store and deliver food, so there is no need to use disposable plastic bags.
