IMPLEMENTASI PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK KELAS IV SD NEGERI 001 TELUK MERBAU

Abstract


Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the scientific approach in thematic learning for grade IV SD Negeri 001 Teluk Merbau. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in grades IVA, and IVB. The data collection technique used by this researcher is through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The observations made by the researcher were 3 meetings in each class. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the fourth grade teacher of SD Negeri 001 Teluk Merbau tried to implement a scientific approach in thematic learning, although it was not optimal, of the 5 indicators in the scientific approach only 4 indicators had been implemented, namely observing, trying, reasoning and communicating, and only 1 indicator. What has not been implemented is the questioning activity, this is because students are shy, not confident, do not dare to express the questions that are in themselves, and lack of curiosity in students.
