Abstract


Abstract: The problem in this research is the government policy that requires all educational institutions across Indonesia to conduct online education and learning activities due to the Covid-19 outbreak, while physical education classes are a class that requires students to do more physical activity or exercise then study theory like any other general subject. Especially students with special needs will find it very difficult to use the tools used for online learning. The aim of this research was to find out how the implementation of adaptive physical education in the ABC special school Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan. The sampling technique was targeted sampling on deaf students, 15 students in total. The instrument used in this research is the use of a questionnaire and interviews with teachers and students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in general the implementation of adaptive physical education for children with special needs with hearing impairment in SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan from the indicators of objectives, materials, strategies and infrastructure for adaptive learning physical education is very good, i.e. the ideal score is 83.78% categorized as very good.
