PENGARUH LATIHAN BEBAN PADA KAKI TERHADAP KECEPATAN TENDANGAN MAE GERI PADA ATLET KUMITE KARATE PEMULA WADOKAI AL-KAUTSAR DURI
Abstract
Abstract : The problem in this study is still lack of speed at the time of kicks on kumite athletes karate beginner wadokai Al-kautsar duri. Based on these problems the authors give the form of leg weight training. This study was conducted to find out how much influence leg weight training of kicking speed on kumite athlete karate beginner wadokai Al-kautsar duri, so that at the time of attack kicks get maximum kick results. This type of research is experimental with one group pretest-posttest design research. The population in this study is the kumite karate beginner of wadokai Al-kautsar duri 5 male sample and 5 female sample. The sampling technique used is total sampling, where the entire population of 10 people is sampled. With a kick-speed skill test instrument, a descriptive analysis and normality test using liliefors test at a significant level of α (0.05) resulted in a pretest average kick rate for male sample is 14.2 and for female sample is 10,8. Furthermore, given leg weight training for 16 times meeting at kumite beginner karate athlete wadokai Al-kautsar duri. Then performed posttest speed kick mae geri yielded an average for male sample 17.8 and for female sample 13.2. Based on the results of pretest and posttest data analysis there is a difference in numbers which increased by 3.6 for male sample and 2.4 for female sample. From t test analysis yield Tcount equal to 4,44 for male sample and 9,716 for female sample and Ttable equal to 2,132 mean tcount > ttable. It can be concluded that leg weight training influences on the result of increased kick speed at kumite athlete karate beginner of wadokai Al-kautsar duri.
