PENGARUH SISTEM ZONASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 1 BENGKALIS

Abstract


Abstract: To overcome the problem of equitable distribution of Indonesian education, the Ministry of Education and Culture issued a new Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 14 of 2018 concerning the Admission of New Students and the enactment of the school zoning system. The term "zoning" began to be used in 2017 in structuring the New Student Admissions system which refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 14 of 2018 concerning the Admission of New Students to Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, Vocational High School, or equivalent. The notion of "zoning" is defined as the division or division of an area into several parts, in accordance with the functions and management objectives. With the zoning system, especially public schools are prepared to provide quality education services evenly to members of the community in a certain area or area so that the "best children" do not have to look for the "best schools" which are located far from their homes. The PPDB zoning system has implications for the need to prepare schools of the same and of equal quality as schools that have been considered superior schools or favorite schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the zoning system on student learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis. The population in this study were all learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis students before and during zoning, totaling 60 learning outcomes. The samples in this study were all the learning outcomes before and during the zoning in the 2018-2020 school year. The data collection technique was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study with the analysis of the T test are sig> 0.05 (0.601> 0.05) and t count is smaller than t table (t count <t table). It can be concluded that there is no significant effect of learning outcomes before zoning between learning outcomes after zoning in SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis.
