PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERDASARKAN MASALAH (PBM) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV SDN 8 DURI BARAT KECAMATAN MANDAU

Abstract


Abstrack :This research was carried out because of low learning value of fourth grader students in Science subject  of SD Negeri 8 Duri Barat. Among 20 Students, 6 students (30%) reached the standard of completeness. While 14 students (70%) cannot reach the completeness with average 59,25. The purpose of this study is to increase the ffourth grade students’ value in Social Science subject  of SD Negeri 8 Duri Barat with the application of Problem Based Learning.The results obtained by the average value of the basic score  59.25 in the first cycle increased by 8.01% to 64.In the second cycle the average value of students also increased as much as 47.67 % to 87.5. On the basis of completeness score of Social Science, student learning outcomes is only 70% (not complete).After the teacher was applying the Problem Based Learning in the first cycle the classical completeness increase becoming 45 % ( not complete).In the second cycle the classical completeness increased becoming 10% (not complete). Teacher’s activity at the first meeting is 60.0% in enough category level. The second meeting increased becoming 70.0% in good category level. In the second cycle increased up to 90% in very good category level. In the second meeting of second cycle, the student’s activity increased becoming 95% in the very good category level. The students’ activity in the cycle I of first meeting got 65% percentage in good category level. The second meeting of the first cycle to 80.0% in good category. At the first meeting of the second cycle of student activity increased to 85.0% in very good category, and the second meeting of the second cycle increased again to 90.0% with a very good category.
