Abstract


Abstract : This study aims to determine whether the game congklak this geometry can improve the ability to know the geometry of children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Bhakti Capital District of the City of Peace Marpoyan Pekanbaru, consists of two variables: the game congklak geometry and ability to recognize geometric shapes. The hypothesis is the ability to recognize geometric shapes can be enhanced through the game congklak geometry in children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Bhakti Capital Pekanbaru, involving 10 subjects, namely children aged 4-5 years.

The results showed an increase can be seen from the results of observation before the cycle of 40.00%. the first cycle of the first meeting of 45.00%, cycle 1 meeting 2 50.00% and cycle 1 meeting nilain 3 with an average of 57.50% .. The ability to know the geometry of the second cycle 1 meeting children with an average value of 62.50 %, the second cycle of meeting 2 with an average value of 70.00%., II cycle of three meetings with an average value of 75.00% to the category of Emerging accordance Hope (BSH).
