Abstract


Abstract: Based on the results of field observations to the speech students is still low and teachers are still use learning methods that dominate and not varied. So that learning needs to be given of imaginative play. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of imaginative play to the speech children aged 4-5 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. The sample used in this study 15 children. The data collection techniques were used that observation. Research hypothesis is that there is a significant effect on students' ability to speak after applying imaginative play. It can be seen from the analysis of data obtained t = 11.42 and p = 0.000. Because p <0.05 it can be concluded that there are differences in the ability to speak protégé significant after applying imaginative play in learning. So it means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a very significant difference between before and after the experiment to applying imaginative play. The hypothesis test can be seen hitung =11,420 > t tabel = 1,761. So it means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be known from the value of P=45,74. So it means the influence of imaginative play to speech intelligence of children ages 4-5 years is as big as 45,74%.Keyword : Speech Intelligence, Imaginative.
