POLA PENGASUHAN ANAK PADA KELUARGA BURUH PEREMPUAN PEMETIK TEH PTP.NUSANTARA VI DANAU KEMBAR DESA KAYU JAO KECAMATAN GUNUNG TALANG KABUPATEN SOLOK

Abstract

The research purposes to investigate how child care in the family tea pickers workers especially those of a mother who worked in PTP.Nusantara VI Danau Kembar in the village Kayu Jao. Child care in the family tea pickers workers in the village Kayu Jao is examined through analysis of quantitative descriptive. In collecting data, the researcher utilized an interview to 20 respondents. The research is proven by photo and field note. The result of the research shown that the forms of child care applied by mother tea pickers tend to be authoritarian. It happens because mothers who take multiple roles in the family have to divide their time between working with parenting. Workings mother outside the home makes child rearing more hard and rigid. Mother will make the rules as long as he is not able to monitor the activities of the child, and if the child does not comply with these regulations are inclined to sanction or punishment to child. Growth and development of the child's character will be different from expected .
