DAYA TARIK OBJEK WISATA HUTAN KOTA PASIR PENGARAIAN KECAMATAN RAMBAH KABUPATEN ROKAN HULU

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: (1) describe the attractiveness of the Pasir Pengaraian City Forest Tourism Object, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency; (2) knowing the obstacles faced by the manager of the Pasir Pengaraian City Forest Tourism Object, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. Qualitative research is an analysis whose aim is to use interview results to produce a clear and detailed picture of field observations based on the facts found. The results of the research show that: (1) what visitors can see (something to see) from the sand watering City Forest tourist attraction are endemic plants. Activities that visitors can do (something to do) in the Pasir Pengaraian City Forest apart from seeing endemic plants are recreation while accompanying children to play in the Playground, running on the jogging track which is approximately 800 meters long, resting in the pavilion, and visitors can immortalize the moment in City Forest with deck view facilities provided. However, until now there are no traders selling souvenirs or there is nothing for visitors to buy (something to buy) at the Pasir Pengaraian City Forest Tourist Attraction. (2) The obstacles faced by the management are the lack of attention and budget (funds) from the government for the facilities and infrastructure of the Pasir Pengaraian City Forest Tourism Object, lack of publicity through various media so that it is only known by word of mouth, and lack of human resources. Therefore, it is hoped that there will be cooperation between the community, managers and the government in order to increase the attraction so that more and more visitors visit the Pasir Pengaraian City Forest Tourism Object, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency.
