IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROMOTION OF THE ECHO TOURISM AREA IN THE KAMPAR KIRI HULU SUB-DISTRICT OF THE KAMPAR DISTRICT

Abstract


This study aims to analyze and evaluate the implementation of the promotion of the Gema tourism area in Kampar Kiri Hulu District, Kampar Regency using the advertising, public relations and personal selling approaches. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of promotional strategies carried out by the management in increasing awareness and visitor interest in the Gema tourism area. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The theory of advertising, public relations and personal selling is used as a theoretical framework in analyzing the implementation of promotions. The results showed that promotional strategies involving advertising, public relations and personal selling have an important role in increasing visitor awareness and interest in the Gema tourism area. Through creative and attractive advertising campaigns, good relations with the mass media and the community, as well as effective personal sales efforts, the Gema tourist area managed to get higher attention and visits. The results of this study are expected to provide insights and guidelines for tourism area managers in optimizing their promotional efforts.
