PELAKSANAAN PROMOSI PADA HARRIS HOTEL BATAM CENTER KOTA BATAM PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU
Abstract
Batam is a city with a strategic location. As an industry engaged in the service sector, HARRIS Hotel Batam Center will try to provide maximum service for its guests. Therefore HARRIS Hotel Batam Center needs marketing promotion techniques in dealing with this competition. The media used in promoting marketing at HARRIS Hotel Batam Center itself consists of several customized alternatives or promotional mix, such as Advertising, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, and Direct Marketing. This research is a research that uses a qualitative descriptive method. namely the researcher will analyze the Implementation of Promotions at HARRIS Hotel Batam Center Batam City, Riau Province, as well as describe and describe the main issues related to the topics discussed and then draw conclusions. The types of promotions used in Advertising use 2 types of promotions, online and offline, online promotions through advertisements and broadcasts posted on social media on official Instagram accounts, offline promotions using billboards. Personal selling itself uses 2 types of promotion, namely field selling and retail selling. They tend to do field selling more often, namely the staff will promote directly at certain events known as sales calls, sales visits and sales blitz. Then in the Sales Promotion held a giveaway, giving discounts or discounts. In Public Relations making donations or usually this donation activity is called CSR Activities. And finally, Direct Marketing promotes through 4 types of Direct Marketing promotions, namely Telemarketing, Electronic Marketing, Online Marketing, and Direct Mail.
