IMPLEMENTATION OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE OKURA TOURISM VILLAGE IN THE TEBING TINGGI VILLAGE, RUMBAI TIMUR DISTRICT, PEKANBARU CITY
Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the corporate social responsibility programs that can be used as a means of building and developing the Okura Tourism Village, Tebing Tinggi Village, Rumbai Timur District, Pekanbaru City. This study aims to find out how the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the development of the Okura Tourism Village along with the various obstacles encountered in implementing CSR in the Okura Tourism Village. The theories used are tourism theory, organizational theory, implementation theory, CSR theory, CSR implementation theory, tourism village theory and tourism village development theory. The type of research taken by researchers is descriptive qualitative. The research data collection stage was conducting face-to-face interviews with informants, observing and documenting, the results of observations and the results of conversations analyzed by researchers, namely 4 (four) informants consisting of the Head of Head of the Tebing Tinggi Village Government Okura, Chair of the Pokdarwis of Okura Tourism Village, Team Leader PLTU Tenayan CSR and 1 (one) member of the Tenayan PLTU CSR Team. The results of this study are the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by the Tenayan PLTU in the form of the Okura Dream Flower Garden development program which focuses on the progress of the Okura Tourism Village in achieving the goals and expectations of the village community. The CSR implementation carried out by the Pokdarwis of the Okura Tourism Village also has a clear and directed structure to develop the Okura Tourism Village through the CSR program for the development of the Okura Dream Flower Garden.
