PELAKSANAAN PROMOSI PADA OBJEK WISATA BALAI KERAPATAN TINGGI SIAK SRI INDRAPURA
Abstract
Promotion is a type of communication by providing convincing explanations to potential consumers about goods and services. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the promotion carried out by the Siak Education and Culture Office at the Balai Kerapatan Tinggi Siak Sri Indrapura tourist attraction and the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the promotion. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the research subjects are cultural administrators in the field of culture, tour guides, employees who are in charge of maintaining and cleaning high density halls. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been carried out related to the Implementation of Promotions at the Tourism Object of the Balai Kerapatan Tinggi Siak Sri Indrapura in the good category, however there are several indicators that have not been carried out related to the Implementation of Promotions at the Tourism Object of the Balai Kerapatan Tinggi Siak Sri Indrapura in the aspects of direct mailing, promotional events and public relations. This is evidenced by the results of interviews with the Manager of the Balai Kerapatan Tinggi Siak Sri Indrapura.
