THE EFFECT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP STYLE AND PROVIDING WORK MOTIVATION ON NURSE'S JOB SATISFACTION AT ERIA HOSPITAL PEKANBARU

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the transformational leadership style and the provision of work motivation on the job satisfaction of nurses partially and simultaneously. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with the SPSS program. This research was conducted at Eria Peknabaru Hospital, located on Jl. K.H Ahmad Dahlan No. 163 Pekanbaru, with a total of 83 nurses as respondents. This study uses several analytical tests, namely, validity test, reliability test, multiple linear analysis test, coefficient of determination (R²) test, hypothesis testing with t test (partial), and F test (simultaneous). The results showed that testing the hypothesis of the transformational leadership style had a significant effect on the job satisfaction of nurses at Eria Hospital Pekanbaru, then giving work motivation has a significant effect on nurse job satisfaction at Eria Hospital Pekanbaru, and transformational leadership style and providing work motivation have a significant effect on nurse job satisfaction at Eria Hospital Pekanbaru.
