PERAN UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FUND (UNICEF) DALAM PENCEGAHAN PERUNDUNGAN SIBER TERHADAP ANAK DI INDONESIA PADA TAHUN 2016-2020
Abstract
Cyberbullying is included in the category of a form of violence that involves children because the perpetrators and victims both emerge from among children. Therefore, the United Nations International Children's Fund (UNICEF) makes perundungan siber one of the priority issues to be addressed in order to fulfill children's rights, especially in protecting children from acts of violence. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the contribution of UNICEF in preventing Cyberbullying in Indonesia.
In order to analyze the problem, the researcher uses Role Theory and group level analysis. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative research method and the data obtained through books, journals, reports and newspapers.
The results of this study indicate that UNICEF's contribution to preventing Cyberbullying in Indonesia is in the form of work programs such as the End Violence campaign, Roots Indonesia, U-Report, all of which are aimed at preventing and educating teenagers about violence against children including bullying and cyberbullying.
