PERAN PEMERINTAH KABUPATEN KAMPAR DALAM PENGEMBANGAN OBJEK WISATA DANAU RUSA TAHUN 2019-2021

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the Kampar Regency Government in the development of Deer Lake Tourism Object. Deer Lake is a tourist spot owned by the Kampar Regency government through Batu Besurat Village.

In this study, the author uses a qualitative approach in order to know or describe the reality of the study to be studied. The type of research used by the author is descriptive research. The research informants used were 4 people with their respective criteria.

Based on the results of the research and discussion described above, conclusions can be drawn, among others, regarding the development plan for the Danau Rusa tourism village consisting of several indicators including development that has been coordinated by the Tourism and Culture Office of Kampar Regency and is listed in the Strategic Plan (Renstra). The planning and development of the Deer Lake tourism object begins with the preparation of the Deer Lake Development Master Plan. Regarding the institution, the Tourism and Culture Office of Kampar Regency has collaborated with the local community and formed a group called POKDARWIS (Tourism Awareness Group). Regarding the regulation of the Tourism and Culture Office of Kampar Regency, it refers to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 10 of 2009, Government Regulation Number 50 of 2011, the Ministry of Tourism Number 14 of 2016, then also PP Number 39 of 2009 regarding KEK, namely Special Economic Zones. This includes all types of tourism. In the service aspect there is the provision of Parking Officers, Security Officers, and Tour Guides, the implementation of the International Dragoan Boat event in 2019, Pacu Sampan Competition, Balimau Kasai, and Campgrounds. In the aspect of empowerment, it is providing training to the Danau Rusa Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS), and the cooperation between the Tourism and Culture Office of Kampar Regency and Bank Indonesia in Helping Pokdarwis Empowerment.
