MODAL SOSIAL KELOMPOK SADAR WISATA (POKDARWIS) DALAM MENINGKATKAN WISATA AIR TERJUN BATU DINDING DESA TANJUNG BELIT KAMPAR KIRI HULU
Abstract
This study was conducted in Tanjung Belit Kampar Kiri Hulu village. The purpose of study is to determine the social capital carried out by Pokdarwis and to find out how social capital could increase the potential for tourist visits. This study uses “the social capital theory” proposed by James Coleman consists of networks, values and norms and beliefs. This study uses a qualitative descriptive. This study subjects were four informants and three key informants. The result obtained are that there is tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis) as managers and tasks executor for Batu Dinding Waterfall tourism, and then social capital is very important in Pokdarwis performance, and also the goals to be achieved that must be based on elements of social capital such as networks, values and norms and beliefs, these three elements must be owned by Pokdarwis fellow members as well as with the Tanjung Belit village community. And when good social capital is carried out with the community, it can increase the potential tourists to visit Batu Dinding Waterfall.
