PENGARUH PELATIHAN KERJA TERHADAP KOMPETENSI KERJA PESERTA DI DINAS TENAGA KERJA KOTA PEKANBARU
Abstract
Job training ia a program carried out at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office in collaboration with private training institutions. The phenomenon that occurs is the limited number of Human Resources at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office, the inadequate time for the implementation of the training held at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office, and the demands of the world of work which generally prioritize experience in a field of work, while most job seekers do not have work experience yet, with job training it is hoped that it can provide experience and knowledge and skills to training participants. The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of job training on the competence of participants at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office. Where the population is 160 job training participants in 2018. The sample used in this study was 61 people. Job training has a significant effect on job competence at the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office with the level of closeness of the relationship being in the strong category. Where the result of the correlation test obtained the probability figure of 0.000. Where 0.000 is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) then H0 is rejected, which means that there is a significant relationship between job training and job competence. The resulting correlation coefficient is 0.549. Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and (H0) is rejected.
