Abstract


This study aims to analyze the market structure, behavior and performance of the two-wheeled motor vehicle repair service industry in Pekanbaru City. Sampling using a sample size based on Gay & Diehl's theory and then using the Multistage Random sampling method, which based on the Gay & Diehl theory, 52 respondents were determined and then the sample was taken based on the number of districts in Pekanbaru City using the Multistage Random sampling method. The data analysis used is descriptive and quantitative analysis through the structural-behavior-performance theoretical approach. The results of the analysis show that the market structure of the two-wheeled motor vehicle repair service industry in Pekanbaru City is a monopolistic market with the highest market share of 5.10% and the lowest market share of 0.34% and with the lowest market share. CR4 value of 19.28%. Then the behavioral analysis calculated based on the CLR shows that the two-wheeled motorized vehicle repair service industry in Pekanbaru City is a capital-intensive industry and the use of advertising for promotion in this industry is not good because business actors use the method of word of mouth to customers. The balance of the performance of the two-wheeled motor vehicle repair service industry in Pekanbaru City occurred at an average condition of 21.28%. The highest PCM with a value of 38.46% and the lowest PCM with a value of 6.66%.
